Screen aside, the Droid Bionic will be one of the first to run on American operator Verizon's 4G LTE network. This means it will be a US exclusive, but it is still significant for Asia consumers because the telcos here are preparing their LTE networks, too. Even if the Bionic doesn't make its way to our region in its current form, we may see a tweaked version when operators are ready to deploy their 4G networks.

Motorola 4G Droid Bionic

Most high-end Android smartphones come with WVGA (854 x 480- or 800 x 480-pixel) resolution screens. Motorola takes it a notch higher with a 960 x 540-pixel display for the Droid Bionic. The company calls it a qHD resolution, presumably because the number of pixels is exactly one-quarter of a full-HD (1,920 x 1,080) panel.
